As a community action project we listen, we speak and we truly do understand the pain for those who are contemplating ending their life.

Here’s why…

This non-profit making initiative was created by a man who is a survivor of multiple suicide attempts. These really personal experiences are why we are so passionate and why we, in connecting with those in in crisis, can truly say “We understand” a kind of ‘Been there got the tee shirt approach!’

These experiences resonate and so when we say “Hey, we know what you are going through” you know we really mean it!

Coupled with this is another truly vital message – It is quite simple

“We have been there, we know and are still here”

Here to guide you through just as we have been guided through.

It’s never truly ‘easy’—it never is. And while people often say with the best of intentions, “We understand how you’re feeling,” if they’ve never faced that same depth of despair themselves, the natural response is, “Mate, you don’t really know what I’m going through.”
